Kol Nidre Appeal

Our goal for this year is not just to support the ongoing operation of the Temple, but to invest in you, our congregation. We intend to build a collective unity through the creation of programs designed to foster new relationships and reinforce the bonds between our members, and ensure the strength of our community – AND YOU CAN HELP US MAKE THAT HAPPEN!

Did you know that over the past year that Temple Beth Torah…

  • Hosted the largest number of events in its history, both spiritual and secular? These included special religious events in support of Israel and our Jewish community, and a diverse range of social & family events with guest speakers, cooking, live concerts, game nights, arts & crafts, Latkes & Vodkas, and even an amazing mentalist.
  • Supported the Jewish community at home and around the world by participating in more than half a dozen charitable events with causes ranging from supporting Israel and the IDF, to Jewish education, to social action for the poor, elderly, and the hungry.
  • Conducted a wide array of classes and workshops in reading Torah and prayer, conversational Hebrew, Zionism, Jewish philosophy and more.

Please support our annual Kol Nidre Appeal. With your donation, we can continue to bring the blessings of Jewish spirituality, pride and tradition to Temple Beth Torah and our community. YOU can make a difference. Whether it’s $1, $18 or even $1,800, a gift of any amount will help provide for a strong future for our Temple, and Jewish community in our neighborhood and the surrounding area.

We start 5785 energized, led by Rabbi Dermer and Cantor Sokol, and our Executive Board of dedicated lay leaders and Trustees who are all committed to making the Temple not just the spiritual home of modern Conservative Judaism in Jericho, but the social center of a proud and strong Jewish community!

May 5785 be happy and healthy year for all of us!!
